We are looking for immediate
full-time, part-time Industrial Hygienists in
Detroit and Plymouth, MI and Toledo, OH.
Job
Responsiblities:
-
Oversee
complex
asbestos,
lead-based
paint,
and
hazardous
materials
surveys
and
air
monitoring
services
for
various
clients
located
in
the
Midwest
region,
throughout
the
country,
and
around
the
world.

Perform
industrial
hygiene
project
management
services
with
sound
judgment.
-
Plan,
prioritize,
and
organize
diversified
workload,
recommend
changes
in
practices
or
procedures
and
perform
standard
project
management
responsibilities
including
financial
recordkeeping;
maintenance
of
accurate
records;
contracts,
bid
specifications,
charts,
tables,
etc.
-
Act
as a
liaison
with
other
departments
and
outside
agencies
including
high-level
public
and/or
private
contacts.
-
Attend
designated
meetings
and
work
with
a
diverse
group
of
important
external
callers
and
visitors.
-
Perform
other
duties
in
direct
relationship
to
the
department
operations.
Job
Requirements:

Certification
desired.

Environmental
Site
Assessor
(ESA)
Job
Summary:
Performs Phase I environmental assessments in accordance with ASTM standards and client-specific scopes of work to identify recognized environmental conditions. Conducts soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with ASTM and EPA requirements. Evaluates and summarizes historical and analytical data and prepares written reports.
Job Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Geology or related field
- 1 – 2 years performing Phase I and/or Phase II environmental assessments.
- OSHA-40 hour certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license.
- Extensive travel possible.
- Knowledge and experience in site and building systems assessments is a plus.
- Must have strong writing and computer skills.
