Industrial Hygiene Services, GSA National Capital Region (NCR), Washington, DC – TTL is currently providing IH Services to the Safety, Environment and Fire Protection Branch of the General Service Administration (GSA) National Capital Region (NCR) Public Building Service (PBS) in the nation’s capital as the managing member of a joint venture (TTL-Arc Environmental JV, LLC) under contract to perform comprehensive IH services including indoor air quality, asbestos, lead and mold identification/testing, in all of the GSA-owned properties in Washington, D.C. This includes over 600 facilities throughout our nation’s capital and excludes only the living quarters of the White House, the Pentagon and the Capitol. Contract No. GS-11P-12-DC-C-0008.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Midwest Environmental Multiple Award Contract (EMAC) – TTL is one of five awardees to provide environmental consulting services to the U.S. Navy for NAVFAC Midwest’s latest EMAC program. Recent projects have included Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on a 1,000-gpm Groundwater Treatment Facility (GWTF) at the Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) in Fridley, Minnesota, and a mold remediation project at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane, Indiana. Decontamination & Disposal Technician (D&D Tech) Support, NASA Plum Brook Station – TTL was solely contracted for the final phase by SAIC to provide D&D Tech Support on behalf of the NASA Glenn Research Center at the Plum Brook Reactor Facility. TTL’s SOW included self-performing building and land area surface preparation, decontamination and cleaning of both building and equipment surfaces, segregation of concrete and debris from soil within a Radioactive Material Area (RMA), and radiological decontamination of site areas exceeding the specified Remediation Action Level (RAL). Quality Control Management and Testing, Runway Reconstruction Project, Dover Air Force Base, Dover, Delaware – TTL performed the Contractor Quality Control Management, Inspection and Testing for this 15-month runway reconstruction project. Runway 14/32, approximately 2.6 miles long, was removed in its entirety. This full-depth replacement included three associated taxiways. Full-depth reconstruction included both concrete and asphalt concrete pavement sections. Contract No. FA8903-04-D-8678.
Soil Boring and Temporary Well Installation, and Monitoring Well Abandonment, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (SBDU), North Manitou Island, Michigan – TTL installed soil borings, installed temporary wells and abandoned existing monitoring wells using direct-push technology and hollow stem augering methods at the SBDU North Manitou Island site. The work was completed utilizing all-terrain rigs, Geoprobe®, and a two-person drilling crew for each to complete the boring operations as requested. Access to the remote area was by barge and all supplies, lodging, meals, and fuel had to be mobilized in one barge mobilization due to the remoteness of the area. Expansion of Groundwater Pump and Treat System, Former Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Michigan – TTL has over eight years of experience working at Wurtsmith AFB including four Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) cost reimbursable Task Orders (TOs) in the last five years in support of the final remedy for landfills 30/31 to prevent the migration of landfill leachate. TTL completed all TOs ahead of schedule, under budget, and to the satisfaction of project stakeholders. Prime Contract No. FA8903-04-D-8678/8720/8721.
Environmental Consulting Services (NEPA Renewable Energy Environmental Assessments) Blanket Purchase Agreement, VA National Energy Business Center (NEBC) – TTL has performed 14 NEPA Environmental Assessments for the VA NEBC at sites in California, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Virginia for renewable energy projects including wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass. Asbestos Abatement, Hazardous Material Removal & Radiological Decontamination, NASA Plum Brook Station – This T&M project involved the removal of asbestos containing materials and demolition of multiple structures associated with the Reactor Facility. TTL/TolTest personnel removed in excess of 5,000LF of thermal insulation, over 5,000SF of boiler, and 1,000SF of tank insulation as well as the removal and packaging of PCB containing waste, lead containing materials, and radiological decontamination.
