Ajera Troubleshooting

Reminder: The full version of Ajera requires PC’s running Windows 7 or greater with Internet Explorer 10*.  You can access timesheets using the mobile link on the associate page from any browser though.

*You can run it on Windows 7+ with Firefox/Chrome, but you need the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant extension installed.

 

Troubleshooting steps…Try Ajera after each of the fixes below, its rare to need them all.

 

Fix #1 – Clear browser temp files and cookies (Assumes IE10)

  1.  Click the gear icon in upper right of IE
  2.  Click Internet Options from the dropdown menu
  3.  On the General tab, look down to Browsing History, then click the Delete button next to it
  4.  Make sure Temporary Internet Files and Cookies are checked, you can uncheck the rest.
  5.  Hit Delete and wait for the items to be removed.  When its complete click OK on the Internet Options dialog box to close it.
  6.  Close Internet Explorer and wait 30 seconds
  7.  Open Internet Explorer and try Ajera again, if the problem persists continue below.

 

Fix #2 – Clearing the cached Ajera files

  1. Open this folder -> C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
  2. Delete everything in it
  3. Restart PC
  4. Try Ajera again, if problem persists continue below.

 

Fix #3 – Install .NET Framework 4.5.2

  1. Go to this website -> http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42643
  2. Download the installer for .NET 4.5.2
  3. Follow the install process and when complete, restart you PC
  4. Try Ajera again, if the problem persists please continue below.

 

Fix #4 – Setting Ajera as a trusted site

  1. Run Internet Explorer
  2. Go to https://ajera.ttlassoc.com/ajera
  3. Click the Gear icon in the upper right and then go to Internet Options
  4. Click Security Settings
  5. Click Trusted Sites THEN click the Sites bottom in the middle-right.
  6. It should have https://ajera.ttlassoc.com in the “add this website to the zone”.  If not copy/paste, then click Add
  7. Close -> Ok (one time)
  8. Click the Advanced tab of Internet Options
  9. Click Reset towards the bottom of the screen
  10. In the new windows click Reset again
  11. When its complete, click close and restart your PC
  12. Run Internet Explorer
  13. Go to https://ajera.ttlassoc.com/ajera
  14. Log in and try it now.  You may get a pop-up from ajera.ttlassoc.com, Run or Ok it.  If the problem persists, please continue below.

 

Fix #5 – Reinstalling .NET Framework 3.5.1

  1. Close everything you’re working on.
  2. Go to Start – Control  Panel – Uninstall a Program OR Programs and Features
  3. In the upper left click ‘Turn Windows features on or off’
  4. wait for it populate
  5. Look for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1, its box should be solid or checked
  6. Click it once so that it shows as unchecked or clear
  7. Click Ok and it will remove this feature, could take a few minutes
  8. After it done, Restart your PC if it doesn’t ask you to.
  9. After starting back up, ignore any Call Manager errors and repeat Steps 2-4 again
  10. Look for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1, its box should be clear
  11. Click it once so that it shows as solid or checked
  12. Click Ok and it will remove this feature, could take a few minutes
  13. After it done, Restart your PC if it doesn’t ask you to.
  14. Try Ajera again, if the problem persists, please continue below.
