Industrial Hygiene Project Manager

Position Summary

The TTL Project Manager is a subject-matter expert in his/her related field, providing advice and support to our valued clients.  As an Industrial Hygiene Project Manager, you will develop professional relationships with your clients, seek opportunities to provide them TTL’s range of services, write proposals, develop budgets, coordinate internal and external resources, and deliver superior quality project services timely. This mid-level position has development opportunities for a senior technical or management career track.


  • Oversees complex asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality and hazardous materials surveys for TTL clients.
  • Oversees field personnel to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
  • Performs field work including asbestos, lead-based paint and I/H-related surveys.
  • Creates client reports that convey professional-level methodology, findings and recommendations.
  • Performs industrial hygiene project management duties, such as creating proposals, project budget management and financial record-keeping, contract management, etc.
  • Plans, prioritizes, and organizes a diversified workload.
  • Recommend changes in practices or procedures to improve processes or client services.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level public and/or private contacts.
  • Attend designated meetings and deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors.
  • Perform other duties in direct relationship to the department operations.


  • A minimum of three years of project management experience in the industrial hygiene profession
  • Field experience with asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and hazardous materials investigations/surveys
  • Asbestos and Lead Certifications are desired
  • Demonstrated excellent writing skills related to project proposals and reports
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated sound professional judgement in the I/H field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of public and private entities.
  • Able to travel 60%
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Successful post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screenings and criminal background check
