TTL Associates Receives Michigan Concrete Awards

The Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) recently presented three awards of excellence to TTL Associates, Inc. (TTL) for Construction Materials Testing (CMT) work performed out of the firm’s regional Plymouth, Michigan office.  Jeff Elliott, P.E., TTL’s Vice President of Michigan Operations, accepted the awards at the MCA’s annual meeting in late February.

“We are pleased to receive these awards,” said Elliott.  “Our technicians and managers worked diligently on these projects, and it’s awesome to be rewarded for that.  These awards simply confirm what we already know,” Elliott added, “that TTL is indeed committed to providing quality service.”

TTL received awards for working on projects in three separate categories, as detailed below:

Ramps/Interchanges Category:

  • US-23 at the US-223 Interchange and NB US-23 Reconstruct (Monroe, Michigan)

Divided Highways Category:

  • M-85 (Fort St.) from Sibley Road to Cloverlawn (Riverview, Southgate, Wyandotte, and Lincoln Park, Michigan)

Collectors Category:

  • Stephens, Gratiot Ave. to Kelly Road (Eastpointe, Michigan)

MCA conducts an annual “Excellence in Concrete” awards program which honors outstanding concrete projects that were constructed in the previous year.  The award plaques are presented at the annual workshop and conference.
